SY Consulting Global — The Change Architects
Change Management & Organisational Psychology Consulting | SY Consulting Global

Change only works when people accept it.

Most transformation programmes are strategically sound and still fail. They fail in the gap between the plan and the people expected to live with it. We work in that gap — combining strategy with organisational psychology so change is understood, adopted and sustained.

The problem we are hired for

Strategy is rarely the reason change fails

Leaders usually know what needs to change. The business case is written, the timeline is agreed, the technology is selected. Then adoption stalls, and nobody can point to exactly where.

What happened is behavioural, not strategic. People were asked to work differently without being given a reason they accepted, a voice in the design, or permission to say what they actually thought. Resistance rarely announces itself — it shows up as quiet non-compliance, as workarounds, as a system everyone logs into and nobody uses.

We are brought in to make that part visible and solvable, before it costs a programme its credibility.

Resistance nobody voicesPeople comply in the meeting and revert the moment it ends.
Silence mistaken for agreementNo objections raised is not the same as buy-in earned.
Adoption that slips backSix months on, the old process has quietly returned.

How we move an organisation forward

Sustained pressure is not a wellbeing problem to be managed around. Handled intelligently, it is the raw material of performance.

Pressure

Name what people are actually carrying: workload, uncertainty, loss of control, the fear of being exposed as unable to keep up. Unnamed pressure does not disappear; it relocates.

Clarity

Give people a version of the change they can hold. What is happening, why, what it asks of them specifically, and what will not change. Clarity is what converts anxiety into attention.

Performance

Build the habits, structures and leadership behaviours that make the new way easier than the old one. Adoption is a design problem, not a willpower problem.

About the practice

An independent practice, senior from the first conversation

SY Consulting Global is led by Sadia Asim from the Netherlands, working globally through a network of trusted partners. Two decades across HR, finance and behavioural psychology sit behind every engagement — and the person in the first conversation is the person who delivers the work.

That model is deliberate. You get senior attention throughout rather than a proposal written by a partner and delivered by a graduate, and specialist depth is brought in through named partners who are accountable for their part.

Four phases, in this order

01

Diagnose

We start with evidence, not assumptions. Culture diagnostics, stakeholder interviews, readiness assessment and a clear reading of where resistance will come from and why.

02

Design

A change approach built for your organisation — sequencing, communication, leadership roles and the specific behaviours the transformation depends on.

03

Embed

Coaching, training and facilitation while the change is live. This is the phase most programmes underfund, and the phase that determines whether anything sticks.

04

Measure

Adoption tracked against agreed indicators, with honest reporting on what moved and what did not, and a handover your team can run without us.

Understand Regulate Harness Sustained performance Team conditions that stop pressure compounding

Foundational programme

Coaching for leaders and professionals under sustained pressure

We understand the human cost of sustained pressure, and we work with it intelligently rather than pretending it away. The programme takes leaders through three capabilities, in sequence.

  • Understand stress — recognise what pressure is doing to judgement, communication and decision quality
  • Regulate stress — practical methods that hold up in a live working week, not in a retreat
  • Harness stress — convert pressure into focus, and model that for the people watching
  • Sustain performance — build the team conditions that stop pressure compounding

Delivered as a programme for leadership teams, or one-to-one for senior individuals carrying an unusual load.

What clients say

Judged on what is still standing a year later

Several of our engagements are anonymised at the client's request. Where a name cannot be published, the role and the sector are exact.

We had the strategy. What we did not have was a way to get eight country teams to agree it applied to them. That is the part SY Consulting did.

The system went live on time. What mattered more is that people used it, and we can show which behaviours changed.

What makes the difference

Science-based, business-driven

Strategies grounded in organisational psychology and backed by data, then held to a commercial standard.

Tailored, never templated

No cookie-cutter programmes. What we design fits your structure, sector and constraints.

AI and behavioural science combined

Psychology, strategy and AI-driven change management integrated rather than run as separate workstreams.

People-first AI transformation

Helping organisations adopt AI without resistance, fear or quiet sabotage.

Innovation that people can absorb

Technology and the people using it move at a pace that works for both.

A deliberate partner network

Specialist consulting and technology firms alongside us, so you get depth without a bloated engagement.

Expert-led throughout

You work with senior practitioners, not a rotating account team. The person in the first conversation is the person delivering the work.

Four regions, one standard

We bring global perspective to every local challenge — and we adapt the method to the culture, not the other way round. Regulatory context, works councils and local hierarchy are part of the design, not a footnote to it.

Europe

Restructure, digital adoption and hybrid-working culture, with European regulatory and works-council realities built into the approach.

Africa

Multi-country leadership programmes, public-sector performance transformation and capacity building designed for local context.

Asia

Change programmes in fast-growing organisations where structure has not yet caught up with headcount.

The Americas

AI and HR transformation for organisations balancing speed of adoption with employee trust.

Why AI Transformation Is No Longer Optional

AI is reshaping the core of how organisations operate — and the deciding factor is no longer capability, but adoption.

Questions we are usually asked first

It depends on what is changing and how much trust exists to start with. A focused diagnostic runs in two to four weeks. A full programme typically spans three to nine months, with the embedding phase deliberately longer than most firms allow for — that is where adoption is won or lost.

Yes. Smaller organisations often see faster results, because the distance between a decision and the people affected by it is shorter.

Against indicators agreed with you at the start — adoption rates, engagement measures, process metrics, and qualitative evidence from the people using the new way of working. We report what moved and what did not, including the months that go slower than we would like.

Regularly. We frequently sit alongside technology and ERP partners, handling the human side of a transformation they are delivering technically. It is one of the most effective arrangements we work in.

A conversation, then a short diagnostic, then a written recommendation on what we would do and in what order. You are free to take that recommendation and run it internally.

Yes, across time zones, with on-site delivery where a programme genuinely needs to be in the room. Most engagements are a mix.
